Bates Nut Farm

Last weekend we went down to Escondido for Connor's baby blessing (sorry, no pictures of that) and took the opportunity to go to Bates Nut Farm, which is a Halloween themed farm in Valley Center that my family has been going to for years for school field trips.

Hay ride around the farm

Ty and Grandpa picking out pumpkins to take home. Ty tried to pick these up but soon gave up and stuck to the littler ones he could carry. It was really hot at the pumpkin patch as you can see by Ty's red cheeks.

He looks pretty serious about his pumpkins. He must have been taking frowning lessons from Uncle Scott!!

So sad we missed out :( But at least next year we can go and Connor will be old enough to enjoy

That was a fun day, even in the heat. Thanks for coming down and hangin out at Nate's. It's awesome for Tanner to have another kid to enjoy it all with. Can't wait for the halloween party. See ya then!

Great family picture you guys! I wish we had a professional photographer in our family too:) Ours are always taken with a tripod and a timer.
